We obtain student footage in the following ways:

• Filming by TruTrade: Our team may record footage of students for use on our platform and social media.
• Footage Provided by the student’s College: The College may share student footage with us for uploading to our platform and social media.
• Footage Provided by Students: Students may upload or submit their own footage for inclusion on our platform and social media.

4. How Do We Use Your Personal Data?

We process student footage for the following purposes:

• Platform Services: To create student profiles and showcase their work to potential employers.
• Marketing & Promotion: To feature student work in our promotional materials, including our website and social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms).
• Platform Optimisation: To enhance user experience and engagement.

5. How We Store and Protect Your Data

We implement robust security measures to protect your personal data:

• Secure Storage: All footage is stored on secure servers with encryption and access controls to prevent unauthorised access, modification, or loss.

• The Student’s College: We may share student footage with the College for their own marketing and promotional purposes. Once shared, the College becomes an independent Data Controller of this data and determines how it is used. We encourage you to review your College’s privacy notice.
• Marketing & Media Partners: For promotional purposes, including social media and external advertising campaigns.
• Service Providers: External providers assisting with platform hosting, video processing, and storage.
